✔ What is a DNA paternity test? A DNA paternity tests the comparison of a child's genetic material to an alleged father's genetic material to determine the probability of them sharing a biological relationship. The mother’s sample is strongly recommended and improves statistical results.

✔ How do I get a paternity test done? Call or text 470-252-8007 to make an appointment and purchase your test. A certified collector will meet you, verify your information and collect your samples. It's a very simple process.

✔ What will the results indicate? The results will indicate the statistical probability that the alleged father is excluded or not excluded as the biological father.

✔ Are your DNA test results accepted by the courts? Our DNA tests are court admissible, but only if they maintain strict chain-of-custody procedures, use verified identification, and are processed by an accredited laboratory, all of which we do as part of our standard LEGAL testing procedures.

✔ How much does DNA testing cost? Each type of test is independently priced on our Services page, accessed on the Home Screen, or the Button below, and includes testing of up to three people. Mobile fees are based on the distance to your testing location(s). There is an additional appointment fee if two separated appointments/locations are needed to complete the testing; for example, a son and supposed father are tested in different towns on separate days. A quick call or text will give you a personalized quote, at the best possible price.

✔ What do I need to bring to my appointment? Adults will need a government-issued ID (with a photograph) such as a driver's license or passport for each person tested. A guardian bringing the child must have legal paperwork to show guardianship. For a minor: The parent or guardian must provide legal paperwork as proof they can give consent to testing. A certified birth certificate of the child, with the parent name on it), court-issued guardianship/custody papers or a current passport (with parent's signature on it) are acceptable documents. A clear, recent headshot (chest or shoulders up) photograph of the minor is also required. If you're not sure what you have is acceptable, call or text for clarification. NOTE: Please bring an extra color photo copy of your government issued photo ID(s) and photograph(s) of minors to submit to the laboratory, in addition to the original forms for verification. The accredited laboratory will retain the submitted documents (copies) for up to 5 years.

✔ What happens if the testing parties live in different cities or states? Arrangements can be made for collections in different cities and states. There are additional mobile and/or collection fees depending on the city or state and the distance.

✔ I'd like to order a legal court submissable paternity without the father knowing about it. Can this be done? No. The father must give permission for his DNA to be collected for a legal test.

✔ What does 'chain of custody' mean? Chain of Custody is a legal document that tracks the sample from the time of collection to the time it is tested. Each person that comes in contact with the sample is documented in order to trace the sample. This process validates the test's results and guarantees accuracy, and assures the samples have not been tampered with. Your professional collector will assure that all chain of custody procedures are followed.

✔ How soon will I receive my results? Rapid saliva drug screening results are usually available within minutes. Other drug testing methods and non-negative results requiring review by a Medical Review Officer (MRO) may take longer. DNA test results are typically available within 3 days. *Rush results are available for an additional lab fee.

✔ Where do you meet to do the collections? Our collectors meet clients at mutually agreed-upon public or professional locations, such as workplaces, attorney's offices, medical facilities, libraries, detention centers, nursing homes, a nearby hotel lobby, cafés, parks, or community clubhouses. We do not conduct collections at private residences.

✔ Should I avoid food or drink before my testing? Yes, you MUST have no gum, candy, mints, toothpaste, food or liquid (even water) in your mouth for 20 minutes before testing. *If you forget or show up with any of these in your mouth, you will have to wait for 20 minutes before testing can begin. If the Collector sees or suspects a client has consumed any of the above mentioned items, they will wait for 20 minutes to ensure accurate results. DNA Verify is not responsible for inconclusive tests due to the failure of a client in following this rule.

✔ Do you provide DOT-compliant testing? No, we do not provide drug testing for DOT compliance at this time, but will offer it soon.

✔ How do I schedule an appointment? You can call, text, email us or use the Contact Us button below and someone will be happy to help you with an appointment.

✔ Does the mother need to be tested in a paternity case? It is not required for the mother to be tested, but the mother’s sample is strongly recommended and improves statistical results in paternity testing.

✔ What if there are two alleged fathers who are related? DNA is unique to each individual. If two alleged fathers are related, it is necessary to provide the mother's sample to improve the statistical results of the test.

✔ What if I want to test more than one child or alleged parent? There is no limit on the number of tested parties. The base test price includes three samples, there is an additional cost for each additional tested party. *Contact for specific price.

✔ Can the paternity be proven if the alleged father is not available for testing? Other tests are available that can prove relationship with the alleged father using external family members and siblings. Grandparents, aunts and uncles, full or half siblings can be used to establish relationships without the true alleged father's sample.

✔ Is there a difference in buccal and blood samples for accuracy? No. An individual's DNA is the same no matter where it is collected.

✔ How is the DNA samples collected? Samples are obtained by using a swab and rubbing the inside of the cheek for approximately 10 seconds.

✔ How accurate is the DNA test? DNA paternity tests are 99% accurate.
